How review works
The JCEDC Business Directory is a curated list. Nothing appears publicly until a member of JCEDC staff has reviewed it, and staff keep a full history of every change.
What the public sees
Your public listing shows the business name, category, description, address or service area, the phone number, email address and website you mark as public, hours, accessibility notes, and your logo. That is all.
What stays internal
Owner names and personal contact details, verification documents, tax and registration identifiers, internal review notes, revenue figures, and any field marked internal are visible only to JCEDC staff. They are never rendered on a public page and never returned by the public directory.
Timeline
Most submissions are reviewed within five business days. If a reviewer needs more information you will get an email describing exactly what is missing, and your draft is held rather than rejected.
Changing a published listing
Every published listing has a "Request an update" link. Fill in only the fields you want changed. A reviewer applies, declines, or asks for clarification, and you get an email either way.
